B.Sc. ECONOMICS
Admission Requirements
Four-Year Degree programme
i. Credit passes in Five
(5) ‘O’ Level subjects (SSCE/GCE/NECO)
or equivalent including English Language,
Mathematics, Economics and any other two
subjects of which no fewer than two must
be passed at their advanced level provided
that no subject is counted at both levels.
ii. Diploma in Accounting, Banking &
Finance, Business Administration, Economics
and any other relevant courses from approved
institutions.
iii. National Diploma in Accounting, Banking
& Finance, Business Administration
and any other relevant courses from approved
institutions.
iv. National Diploma in Accounting, Banking
& Finance, Business Administration
and any other relevant courses from approved
Polytechnics.
v. National Certificate of Education or
intermediate examination (NCE) in related
subjects from recognized institutions.
vi. Passes in foundation or intermediate
examinations of recongnised (i) professional
bodies, (CIBN, ICAN, ACIA, NIMARK, CIMN,
NIM, CIPM, CIMA) etc. Candidate in (ii)
& (iii) above must have obtained five
credit passes not more than two sittings
in WASCE, GCE or SSCE including English
Language, Mathematics, Economics and any
other two subjects.
Admission Requirements:
Five-Year Degree Program:
i. Five Credits passes at not more than
two sittings in GCE, WASCE or SSCE including
English Language, Mathematics, Economics
and any other subjects preferably from
Commerce, Business Method and Accounting.
ii. Matured candidate should also possess
5 credits with at least either a pass
in English Language or Mathematics.
iii. Mature candidates of not less than
30 years of age with less than the minimum
requirements, but with not less than ten
years cognate working experience may be
considered. |
